His name is Michael. He’s a victim of bullying. I want to prove to him that life is worth living. That things do get better, that there is a life out there.
This was taken while he was on life support for drinking a whole bottle of Listerine. He said it was “to get drunk” but he’s had more incidents than this, and has been on life support more than once.
He has been, and still is, bullied by co-workers, but won’t allow his parents to help. He won’t open up to anyone. His parents have tried to get him on Tumblr, to seek out others like him, to talk, share, but he just won’t.
He’s had numerous jobs to get away from the bullying, but because he’s ‘book smart’, he’s automatically deemed an outcast and then bullied.
His birthday is this month. He’ll be 22. I’m wanting to show him that there are others out there, that have it just as hard, if not harder. That people do care, that not everyone is a bully and there are people out there that know life is worth living.
If you could please reblog this as many times as you can, to just prove to this young man, that life is worth living, that there is so much more to learn, experience and to get from life. That his parents really do love him and that even strangers do care enough just to say “hey.. I know and I care.”
